Yusco: Demand & trading of stainless steel are weak
According to Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), under the influence of 232 section, even if the price of nickel was high, the manufacturers wanted to go up but they were restricted by access and unable to adjust.
The southern stainless steel manufacturers pointed out that the current orders won't be affected, orders were full in March.
However, various stainless steel plant export channels blocked, and they preferred to diversify into overseas markets, but the other factories were also selling in the same market.
When the number of competitors became more, each factory could only compete at a lower price. The factories wanted to reflect the cost of rising prices, but the move was not accepted by the market.
