Welded pipe demand in Chinese market to resume slowly in April
In March, China's welded pipe price drew a slight uptrend line because the raw material cost was still high. Also, the production of steel pipe manufacturers resumed slightly, so the pressure of inventory and steel mills' profits were low. As a result, most steel pipe suppliers kept their prices high.
With entering the peak season in April, although China's government provided a series of stimulated policies, the demand from the real estate industry, which is one of mainly weld pipe buyers, still needs more time to resume.
