Walsin Lihwa announces stainless steel wire rod prices for July
Walsin Lihwa, a stainless steel wire rod and cable manufacturer in Taiwan, announced its new prices of stainless steel wire rods for July. Among them, the price of 200 series, 300 series, and 400 series was kept flat, and the surcharge of grade 316 was hiked by NT$1,500/ton.

Walsin Lihwa said the company made this adjustment to moderately reflect costs while maintaining downstream customers’ competitiveness. The company said the production costs were affected by the depreciation of the New Taiwan dollar exchange rate, higher costs of raw materials, and the 5.8% increase in ferromolybdenum.
