Taiwan’s flat steel prices continue upward trend, but purchasing slow down
Recently, Taiwan’s flat steel products including carbon steel, coated steel coil and sheet price were going upward, due to higher raw material prices and China’s steel prices also remained steady.
Therefore, the major distributors were trying to boost the prices during the last three weeks, however, the purchasing remained slow due to the high price level. It is estimated that the distributors may keep a higher price for a certain period as import prices were also going upward trend.
