Taiwan’s export orders hit new high for Oct
In October 2017, Taiwanese manufacturers received the export orders amounted to US$46.6 billion, hit a record high in single month, and increased by 1.5% compared with US$680 million in September, particular for basic metals and other steel products amounted to US$2.38 billion, which grew by 13.1% compared with the same period last year, and increased by US$30 million compared with September. Meanwhile, Taiwan’s basic metal manufacturers in November were expected that the order would account for 49.2% compared with October. It meant Taiwan’s basic metal industry November export orders might be higher than October.
