Taiwanese steel exports increase in Jan
According to the statistics, Taiwanese exports of steel products had a year-on-year increase in January. In particular, the exports of hot-rolled steel coils were around 420,000 tons, up by 135% year on year, and those of cold-rolled steel were around 100,000 tons, up by 99% year on year.
Among them, the exports of rebar increased the most with the total exports of around 320,000 tons in January, rising by 795% from the same period of the previous year.
In January, the exports of Taiwanese steel product totaled around 920,000 tons, increasing by 131% compared with the same period of last year; the imports totaled around 94,000 tons, hiking by 51% compared with the same period a year ago.
