South Korea's billet imports hit new low in Oct
According to the report from the Korea Iron & Steel Association (KOSA), South Korea’s billet imports totaled 40,317 tons in October, including 37,640 tons of ordinary billet and 2,677 tons of other special billets. The billet imports for October was the lowest since June 2015 with 26,948 tons.
In October, the ordinary billet imports from Japan were 28,098 tons, and those from Russia were 9,542 tons.
