LME nickel prices up to the highest in nearly 1.5 months
LME nickel prices remained strong due to China's steel mills demand continues to improve, the Friday (June 30) the nickel prices settled at US$9,280/ton, the highest nearly 1.5 months; that of 3 months of futures prices settled at US$9,335/ton.
However, the Philippine government has recently made a new statement on the original policy of mine ban, if the continuation of the original tightening policy, will help the demand for pure nickel to improve further. If not, the nickel prices will face a great pressure.
