Japan’s hot-rolled plate shipments fall for Jul
According to the Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF) data statistics showed that Japan's hot-rolled plate shipments fell by 3.8% compared with last June, down by 23.7% compared with the same period of last year.
Meanwhile, there was 82.9% of shipments into the domestic market, the rest of 17.1% to export markets.
In July of this year, Japan's hot-rolled plate production was 667,000 tons, fell by 8.1% compared with previous month, fell by 17.8% compared with the same period of last year.
