Japanese stainless mills to start price negotiation for next January
The Japanese stainless steel mills may start price negotiation for austenitic cold rolled stainless steel products for next January shipments with Asian buyers.

It’s learned that most of the Japanese stainless steelmakers have sought to raise prices by US$50~US$80/ton for next January shipments in order to reflect higher nickel prices, based on the prices in November/December.

Besides, the demand for austenitic cold rolled stainless steel products have increased and the Japanese stainless mills have received lots of inquiries. 

Thus, it’s said that the Japanese stainless steelmakers may raise prices successfully.
