European car sales rise in Aug, for 4 consecutive months
It is reported that the number of newly registered passenger cars in the EU region rose by 5.58% in August of this year, compared with the same period of last year, the increase for four consecutive months.
In the five major markets, except for the UK, the other four markets sales rose compared with the same period of last year.
The European Automotive Manufacturers Association (ACEA) said that the EU car sales totaled 865,047 vehicles in August of this year, which was higher than 819,349 vehicles compared with the same period last year.
