EU to extend AD duty on Chinese aluminum foil for 5 years
According to the report, the European Commission (EC) extended another 5 years for the anti-dumping duty on Chinese aluminum foil exports with less than 10 kilograms, because they doubted China sold the aluminum foil of packaging to Europe at the prices lower than cost.
At present, European manufacturers have requested the EC to extend the period for anti-dumping duty on Chinese aluminum foils. The EC would implement the investigation for 15 months and continued levying the anti-dumping rate of 14.2%-35.6% on Chinese aluminum foil during the period of investigation.
