Australian South32’s manganese, nickel output for Q2
According to the statistics, the output of manganese ore of South32, a globally diversified metals and mining company in Australia, was 1.344 million tons in the second quarter in 2016, rising by 7% year on year. The output of ferromanganese was 58,000 tons, up 29% year on year. The output of nickel was 9,700 tons, increasing by 1% year on year.
The sales volume of manganese ore was 1.38 million tons in the second quarter, up by 9% from the same period of last year; that of ferromanganese was 56,000 tons, down by 20% compared to the same period of the previous year; that of nickel was 9,800 tons, reducing by 2% from the same period of a year ago.
